Miss Scuba International Pageant 2015

The 5th Miss Scuba International was held in the Magellan Sutera Harbour on 27th November 2015. There were 18 contestants from all over the world participating in this event.

The winners are: 

- Miss Scuba International 2015: Miss Cindy Madduma (PHILIPPINES)

- 1st runner up - Miss Kiara Aiello (VENEZUELA)

- 2nd runner up – Miss Tessa Ptacek (USA)

- Miss Photogenic & Miss Talent – Miss Ilze Jankovska (LATVIA)

- Miss Marine Conservation & Best in National Costume- Miss Cindy Madduma (PHILIPPINES)

- Miss Congeniality - Miss Kiara Aiello (VENEZUELA).

Yang Berhormat Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Sabah, Yang Berhormat Datuk Pang Yuk Ming, Assistant Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Sabah, Datuk Adeline Leong, President of the Malaysian Friendship & Trade Centre in Taipei, Taiwan and also as Malaysian Representative and Head of Mission in Taiwan attended the event. More than 500 people from all over the world witnessed this red carpet event.

Sabah is chosen as the location to host this event as Sabah is one of the most strategic located place on earth. She forms the crossroads linking the Southeast Asian countries and the continents from the north to the south and the east to the west.

Sabah is also blessed with so much natural resources that she can be the showpiece to the world how conservation can go hand in hand with development.

“I have always been passionate about the ocean and what we can do to reverse the destruction that has taken place. As a citizen of Puerto Princesa, we are one of the most environmental conscious people in my country, so I’m very vigilant when it comes to keeping the environment clean and safe.” said Miss Cindy Madumma.
